AMP NETCONNECT Mini-Breakout Distribution cables are suitable for both internal and external applications, for example, within a building, or in internal and protected external ducts.
The cables are designed with a tight buffer construction and feature 900µ buffered fiber. The Universal Low Smoke Zero (ULSZH) sheating material provides resistance to moisture ingress. All materials used offer maximum ease of cable preparation.
Mini-Breakout cables are especially suitable for direct termination technologies like LightCrimp, LightCrimp Plus and MT-RJ field installable jacks.

Corrugated Steel Tape Armoured Cable
The corrugated steel tape provides rodent protection along with excellent crush and impact resistance, but the design is lightweight and flexible for ease of installation.
The loose tube in the center is gel filled for additional protection from moisture. Water blocking E-glass strength members surround the tube(s) and a plastic coated corrugated steel tape is longitudinally applied. The plastic coating enables the tape to bond effectively to the outer sheath. The sheaths options are HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) or ULSZH (Universal Low Smoke Zero Halogen).
The corrugated steel tape enables this cable to be used in duct and direct burial applications.
