The Journey of Lim Kim Hai Electric
1958 - Humble Beginnings
Mr. Lim Kim Hai established Lim Kim Hai Electric Co. (LKH-E) as an electrical shop.
1979 - The Lim Kim Hai Building
The Lim Kim Hai Building at 53 Kallang Place became fully operational, with modern facilities including computerised operations to facilitate inventory control, order processing, and accounting processes.
2002 - Continuing the Award Winning Spree
LKH-E was recognised at the Enterprise 50 Awards as a top privately held company in Singapore.
2008 - Diversification in the LED Lighting Business
Business focus in the Lighting industry, opening up LED World in the Lim Kim Hai Building, a 6000 sqft showroom.
2015 - Joining the E-Commerce Revolution
LKH-E expands its reach with online sales, showcasing an extensive selection of products online and offering greater convenience to customers.
2018 - Bringing Quality Products to Jurong Island
LKH-E opens a strategically located showroom on Jurong Island as a one-stop solution centre for customers in the Oil & Gas Industries.
2019 - LKHGC Lighting Targets the Specifier in the Design Industry
A collaboration between the lighting departments of LKH-E & LKHPD, Light Journey is established to target design specifiers in the lighting industry with the goal of growing the lighting business.
2021 - Establishment of ElectGo Pte Ltd
ElectGo, the E-Commerce platform of LKH-E & Precicon, officially establishes itself as an independent company focused on providing click and buy MRO products.
2021 - Venturing into Green Electrical Solutions
LKH-E embraced the movement towards sustainability in electrical innovation and began offering EV Charging & Smart Lighting solutions.
