Sales Executive

As a Sales Executive, who reports to the Senior Manager -Sales & Customer Service, your main goal involves positioning the company to be the first stop in mind of all customers for electric, control, lighting and safety solutions. Using your product knowledge and strong customer service skills, your responsibilities will include sales activities and ensuring that each customer is highly satisfied and that they feel valued.

Teamwork is key as you also work with suppliers/vendors and other departments to support the achievement of sales, profit, and key performance indicator (KPI) targets in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.   • Develop the dedicated sub-cluster business by building customer relationships through visitation, value-added services & solutions to maintain existing customers and increase sales and profit contributions
  • Develop new potential customers for dedicated business clusters
  • Work with different Brand partners & Product ICs for product penetration and project opportunity.
  • Work collaboratively with the clusters in achieving the sales and profitability target
  • Provide timely response, technical solutions and exceeding customer expectations so as to ensure optimal service level
  • Sustain cordial working relationships with business partners to achieve principal support and be the trusted preferred partner
  • Provide market intelligence related to competitor information, industry trends and market outlook
  • Monitor and control the credit terms and limits for the customers
  • Close the deals and ensuring collectability of debts

Required Skills & Experiences

  • Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline with engineering knowledge
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications with strong knowledge of Excel to include V-lookups, pivot tables, and formulas
  • Candidates who are familiar with digital platforms, e.g: Hubspot, Salesforce, on-line chat, e-store management, will be add advantage.
  • Good business acumen
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in problem-solving and decision-making
  • Ability to work and thrive under pressure in fast-paced environment while being able to multi-task

Engineer – IT (Network and Security)

  • Manage network infrastructure to ensure alignment of technical requirements
  • Provide technical inputs on the procurement of network equipment and ensure compliance with procurement policies
  • Oversee the installation, upgrading, operation, control, maintenance and effective use of LAN and/or WAN
  • Review releases, upgrades and fixes available from systems software and supplies and identify those which merit action
  • Perform network fault troubleshooting and root cause analysis to locate sources of network issues
  • Review technical documents for processes, technology and devices
  • Identify and propose variances to the architecture to accommodate project needs
  • Plan and coordinate network security measures for network infrastructure
  • Investigate and assess the risks of network attacks and recommend remedial action
  • Facilitate and participate in the disaster recovery plan, processes and protocols for disaster recovery of network Infrastructure
  • Assess near-term needs to establish business priorities
  • Support audit queries and comply with security and control policies in place
  • Optimise the use of available IT resources

Required Skills & Experiences

  • At least 3 years’ experience working in Windows/Linux and VM environments
  • Possess a diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or discipline
  • Familiar with or able to adapt quickly to network equipment adopted by the Group
  • Experience in cloud technologies or app development would be a plus (AWS/Azure)
  • Experience in internal stakeholder engagement, including conducting user interviews and requirements gathering
  • Work well in an agile project team and in an iterative approach, driven by stakeholder feedback and data insights
  • Strong communication, organisational and documentation skills
  • Willing to travel to various entities at different locations within the Group of Companies if required

Customer Service Executive (Indoor Sales)

  • Manage customer sales inquiries for both cash and credit transactions
  • Up-sell or cross-sell company products and services as appropriate
  • Builds positive and effective relationships with clients and ensures their satisfaction
  • Monitor and follow-up on outstanding order status using the ERP system and take necessary actions to fulfil customer orders
  • Liaise and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customers receive their complete order within the timeframe given
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues which includes escalating unsolved cases to the relevant stakeholders and departments
  • Successfully negotiate pricing with customers, suppliers
  • Process and release accurate invoices for all relevant sales

Required Skills & Experiences

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Business / Administration or other related field.
  • Candidate come with Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline with engineering knowledge will be added advantage.
