- What it offers: $40,000 incentive for zero-tailpipe emission heavy vehicles or buses
- Requirement : Heavy goods vehicles or buses with a Maximum Laden Weight (MLW) over 3,500kg
- Validity: 1 Jan 2026 – 31 Dec 2028

What is the Electric Heavy Vehicle Charger Grant (EHVCG)?
The EHVCG is a government grant that co-funds the purchase of electric heavy vehicle (eHV) more than 3,500kg and co-funds the installation of charging point up to 50% capped at $30,000. chargers. It helps businesses lower the upfront investment when switching to electric lorries or buses.
How much funding can my company receive?
The grant covers up to 50% of the installation cost per charger, capped at S$30,000 per charger.
How many chargers can I apply for under this grant?
Each company can apply for up to 3 chargers per site, and the scheme will support the first 500 chargers installed island-wide.
What type of chargers are eligible?
Only chargers with a minimum output of 50 kW installed at designated lorry or coach lots will qualify.
Do I need to own an electric heavy vehicle (eHV) to apply?
Yes. Your company must purchase at least one eHV for every charger you apply for.
When does the grant start and end?
The EHVCG will run from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2028.
What documents should I prepare in advance?
You may need to provide:
