Heavy Vehicle Zero Emissions Scheme (HVZES)
- What it offers: S$15,000 for vehicles above 3,500kg and S$40,000 for vehicles above 7,000kg
- Scheme period: 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2028.
- Requirement : Heavy goods vehicles or buses with a Maximum Laden Weight (MLW) over 3,500kg
Electric Heavy Vehicle Charger Grant (EHVCG)
- What it offers: Co-funds 50% of charger installation cost (max $30,000 per charger)
- Application Guidelines
- Validity: From 1 Jan 2026
- Limit: First 500 chargers, max 3 per site
- Requirements:
- One charger per registered eHV
- Smart Charger, minimum 50 kW
- Installed at applicant’s business or approved heavy vehicle lot
- Up to 3 chargers per site; more eligible at other sites
- Public use allowed if operated by a Licensed EVCO
- Co-funding: 50% of eligible costs, up to $30,000 per charger (charger system, electrical worker fees, cabling/installation); GST not included

What is the Electric Heavy Vehicle Charger Grant (EHVCG)?
The Electric Heavy Vehicle Charger Grant (EHVCG) helps lower the upfront cost of installing chargers for electric heavy vehicles. The grant co-funds up to 50% of eligible charger installation costs, capped at S$30,000 per charger. To qualify, the applicant must purchase and register a new electric heavy vehicle with a Maximum Laden Weight (MLW) of more than 3,500kg for each co-funded charger.
How much funding can my company receive?
The grant covers up to 50% of the installation cost per charger, capped at S$30,000 per charger.
How many chargers can I apply for under this grant?
Each applicant may receive co-funding for up to three chargers per site. Applications may be made for additional chargers at other sites, provided there are enough qualifying eHVs. The scheme supports the first 500 chargers approved for co-funding.
What type of chargers are eligible?
The charger must be a smart charger rated at least 50kW, support OCPP 1.6 or above, and be installed at a qualifying lorry or coach lot. All applications remain subject to LTA approval.
Do I need to own an electric heavy vehicle (eHV) to apply?
Yes. Your company must purchase at least one eHV for every charger you apply for.
When does the grant start and end?
The EHVCG will run from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2028.
What documents should I prepare in advance?
You may need to provide:
